THE WORDS

The fringe jacket says "it was always you" on the back in script. It was painted by co-founder Breidi in 2020.

THE FRINGE

The original Borrowed & Blue rental

THE YEAR

The fringe jacket joined the project in 2020. It's the very first rental we offered.

THE FIT

The jacket is a slouchy oversized medium jacket

THE CAMERA

The jacket arrives with a disposable camera. Snap a pic of yourself rocking the jacket and put it back in the box for the next bride to do the same.

THE NOTEBOOK

The jacket arrives with a blue leather notebook. Write a letter to the next bride to share in the positive energy of the project.

THE LEGACY

By December 2020, the jacket will have been rocked 14 times in its first 6 months of existence. Not bad for a project that launched during a pretty tumultuous time period, huh? It's been to Utah, Georgia, Florida, Canada, New Hampshire, and Nebraska in its short lifetime. We can't wait to show you all the place it's going in 20211 (hint: one is across the pond!)

THE WORDS

The hat says "live by love though the stars walk backwards" on the back in script. It's an ee cummings quote.

THE HAT

Bringing a new twist to your "something blue"

THE YEAR

The hat joined the project in 2020. We thought it was the perfect compliment to the fringe jacket.

THE FIT

The hat is in the medium size range. It's from Free People and while it does not have a specific size, it fits snug on larger heads.

THE CARE

The hat can be easily crushed so we ask that renters handle it with care. If it does arrive slightly bent, lay it flat on a table and place heavy books along the brim to re-shape it.

THE PACKAGE

Because of its odd shape, the hat is a little hard to fit into most boxes. We recommend using the box it arrived in to ship it to the next location.

THE LEGACY

The hat isn't rented very often because it's so unique. When it is rented, the pictures we receive are always stunning. The hat has been all over the New England area, to Utah, and down to Nashville. We can't wait to see where it ends up next!
